The motto will be words taken from the First Letter to the Corinthians: “But when I became a man, I got rid of what was childish” (1 Corinthians 13:11b). The theme of the conference is not accidental. The research interests of our doctoral students are to some extent concerned with man at the stage of development that is adulthood. Defining who is an adult today poses many difficulties. The conference will provide an opportunity for interdisciplinary, scientific reflection on the criteria of adulthood. On the first day, invited speakers will lean on the topic from theological (especially touching on the problem of adult catechesis), psychological and cultural perspectives. The second day will include speeches by doctoral students of our department and invited guests.
