December 22, 2022 marks two years since Her Magnificence Rector of UAM Prof. Dr. Bogumiła Kaniewska established the UAM Doctoral School of Humanities. Two years is a good time to look back on the achievements of SDHN, and it is also a good opportunity for meetings and discussions.
On this occasion, on December 20, 2022, a ceremony was held in the building of the school’s headquarters, which was attended by doctoral students, promoters, lecturers, school staff and all those for whom the UAM Doctoral School of Humanities is an important place on the map of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. The ceremonial meeting was attended by Mr. Rector Prof. UAM Dr. Rafal Witkowski, who heads the School of Humanities at UAM, whom we thank very much for his inspiring speech for all those gathered.
An important highlight of the event was the presentation of the Almanac of the School of Doctoral Studies in the Humanities of UAM 2019-2022 gathering profiles of all SDNH UAM doctoral students and a description of the topics of their research.
